Zero Trust is often presented as a product. In reality, it is a set of principles: verify every user and device explicitly, grant the least privilege needed, and assume that a breach is always possible.
Begin with identity
Most attacks start with stolen or misused credentials. Strong multi-factor authentication, clean directories and tight control of privileged accounts deliver the fastest gains.
Segment what matters most
Not every system needs the same protection. Identify the services and data that are most critical, and put them behind additional verification and monitoring.
Zero Trust is a journey, not a switch. Entities that start small, measure progress and build on early wins move faster, and more safely, than those waiting for a perfect plan.
